Agnieszka Gradziel

Agnieszka Gradziel - graduated from the prestigious AktorStudio theatre school in Warsaw in 2016, after 3 years of training to expand her on-camera training and help her choose her path as an actress. In the same year, she was cast in her first role in a TV series “Viola my Love” produced by Roma Gąsiorowska. Later, she was cast in two plays, one by the same producer based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as the female lead, and the second “The Lure” by Agnieszka Smoczynska.
In 2016-2018, Agnieszka undertook various professional trainings, the most important of which was the Meisner Laboratory, which greatly contributed to her professional growth and acting technique, as did the workshops she attended under Gary Condes and Beatrice Kruger. Then, she joined Dawid Zakowski and his Stowarzyszenie Sztuka Nowa (Society of New Art). There, she played a role in “Pink Bitterness. Ksiezniczki” (Pink Bitterness. Princesses) directed by Gosia Trajkowska, which premiered in Komuna/Warszawa in 2017. During her association with Stowarzyszenie Sztuka Nowa, she received two years of physical theatre training based on the Grotowski method, and participated in a movement project called Grupa Badawcza. In 2020, Agnieszka starred in a play called Powiem Mamie (I'll Tell My Mother) dealing with the problems of violence among children from troubled families. It was the first play in Poland where only actors and director trained by Meisner (Bartek Goła) were engaged. While gaining professional acting experience, Agnieszka received a master's degree from the University of Warsaw, under the guidance of Professor Leszek Kolankiewicz (an expert and author of numerous books on Grotowski's work).
